What does EG Design's workmanship warranty cover?
EG Design provides a 2-year workmanship warranty on cabinetry and installation work carried out by its in-house team.
Does EG Design subcontract any of its work?
No. Planning, carpentry, and installation are handled by one in-house team, with no subcontractors involved.
What materials are used in EG Design's cabinetry?
Cabinets use moisture-resistant blockboard cores with HPL (High-Pressure Laminate) finishes. Drawers use soft-close, full-extension runners, and doors use soft-close hydraulic hinges.
What worktop materials can I choose from?
Imprezza tops, quartz stone, and sintered stone are available. Each is installed with the support and edge detailing appropriate to the material.
Why use moisture-resistant blockboard instead of standard chipboard?
Kuching's humidity affects standard chipboard and veneer over time. Moisture-resistant blockboard cores paired with HPL finishes hold up better to daily use and humidity.

Does EG Design handle renovation work beyond cabinetry?
Yes. Full home renovation includes wet works, plaster ceilings, and coordination of other trades, planned and sequenced alongside the cabinetry.

What are EG Design's business hours?
Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. Saturday appointments are available on request.
